If our General Assembly takes action soon, South Carolina small businesses will have healthier workers and more money flowing in their local communities creating consumer demand. If they don’t act soon, billions of federal dollars will be lost.

It is a clarion call for South Carolina to “not miss the boat” when it comes to receiving billions more of federal dollars to provide health insurance to low income workers. 31 states are already on board. Now South Carolina has one last chance to improve the state’s health and economy.
