The South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday officially activated new solar panels on its office building at 1717 Gervais St. The chamber, led by Frank Knapp, says the system will save up to $2,525 a year at the 5,500-square-foot building, which also houses several businesses.
