Columbia, SC—Two statewide chambers of commerce have entered a strategic partnership.  The South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce have agreed to collaborate on issue advocacy as well as enable communications and membership benefits of each organization to be available to the members of the other.

“Entrepreneurship is a very strong attribute in the Hispanic community and these small business owners can benefit from our advocacy and membership benefits,” said Frank Knapp Jr., president and CEO of the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce.  “Growing our minority small businesses is vital to building our local economies.”

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership and collaboration with the SC Small Business Chamber.  I have known Frank and the SC Small Business Chamber for about 4 years and his integrity, professionalism and expertise in the area of advocacy will indeed benefit our members and community at a time when their voice desperately needs to be heard.”

Ms. Lugo and Mr. Knapp recently attended the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Legislative Summit in Washington where they also met with members of the South Carolina Congressional delegation.
