USC/SC Business Review: Radio and Zoom seminars for business owners during pandemic

USC’s Darla Moore School of Business Executive Education Department has teamed up with the South Carolina Business Review, hosted and produced by Mike Switzer for SC Public Radio.

Last month the two organizations launched a series of radio and video interviews with Business School faculty entitled: “Managerial Insights: Supporting Businesses During an Uncertain Time”.

In the May 6 interview with Dr. Donald Schepker, “Transitioning Your Company to Successfully Exit the Virus”, the following advice was given:

Planning that businesses can do to maximize ability to succeed when Covid-19 crisis is over:

–Be realistic about time frame for returning to normal.

–Think through strategic priorities about where you want to go in the future and what actions/investments can be taken today to be ready for when the crisis is over.

–Start thinking about new business models and new ways of doing things to be more successful in the future.
