SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – South Carolina’s Small Business Chamber of Commerce has a website that focuses on buying local.
BuySC.org aims to get neighbors to support and buy from local businesses. Business owners post discounts and bargains on the site on items that consumers many not find at big nationwide retailers.
“Advertising is a big struggle. We don’t have the huge budget that the bigger stores have, so it’s hard for people just to know about us, and know we’re out there,” said Rachel Oglesby, a small business owner.
