Columbia marketing professional joins business chamber board
Columbia, SC—Debi Schadel has joined the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce, a statewide advocacy organization with a 23-year record of successful advocacy at the state and federal levels.
Schadel is the COO and Co-founding partner of Flock and Rally, a Columbia-based marketing firm. She has a lengthy and successful track record in developing and managing integrated communications campaigns, creative direction and new brand development, long-term project management and launching new initiatives in the Midlands and beyond.
Along with an undergraduate degree in Sociology from SUNY Fredonia, she holds two master’s degrees: a Master of Real Estate Development from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Carolina.
She has been honored as one of Columbia Business Monthly magazine’s “50 Most Influential,” Free Times’ “Power List” and Columbia Regional Business Report’s “Women to Watch.”
Under Schadel’s leadership, her firm has garnered multiple awards, including Silver ADDYs from the American Advertising Federation of the Midlands, Palmetto Awards of Excellence and Best in Show from the IABC/SC, Mercury and Silver Wing Awards of Excellence and Best in Show from the S.C. Public Relations Society of America, and the Shining Light Award from the Southeast Tourism Society.
