SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce petitions PSC to intervene
Columbia, SC—Earlier this month Duke Energy Progress filed for an electric rate hike of 14.7% (residential), 12.1% (small general service), 8.2% (medium general service), and 6.2% (large general service).
The South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce (SCSBCC) has petitioned the SC Public Service Commission (PSC) to be a party of record in this hearing, which is scheduled to begin on January 9, 2023.
Representing the SCSBCC will be the Terreni Law Firm, LLC, of Columbia.
Since 2002 the SCSBCC or its President has intervened in PSC electric rate cases with great success.
The date for starting the hearing is January 9, 2023.
