Please register and join us Tuesday, January 11 at Noon ET for a virtual press conference about the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. It is imperative that the voice of business, especially small business, be included in the voting rights debate. The future of our entrepreneurial economy is at stake.
Four national organizations (American Sustainable Business Network, Main Street Alliance, Small Business for America’s Future, and Small Business Majority), collectively representing about 500,000 small businesses, have joined together to advocate for the Senate to pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. We are supportive of changing Senate rules to enable the passage of this legislation that will preserve voting rights.
WHAT: Press briefing and live Q&A with U.S. business organizations discussing the significance of voting rights on businesses and the economy. Journalists will be asked to submit written questions. A recording of the call will be available upon request.
