Today the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce (SCSBCC) and the Gullah Geechee Chamber of Commerce released a new document, “No Longer an Asset: How Santee Cooper Is FAILING South Carolina”.
“The document provides a footnoted record of the many problems that have led our organizations and others to conclude that the state-run utility should be sold to an investor-owned utility and properly regulated for the benefits of consumers and taxpayers,” said Frank Knapp Jr., President and CEO of the SCSBCC and Marilyn Hemingway, CEO and President of the Gullah Geechee Chamber of Commerce.
